  • How to create funky effects on your nails?

  • How to avoid chipping on your nail polish?

    I’ve been picking the brains of manicurists on shoots. The trick seems to be in making sure there’s no oil on your nails before you paint them so either wash your hands first or clean them with polish remover. Apply first one coat of the Rimmel base coat. Then stick to two thin coats of colour instead of one thick coat. Always finish with a clear topcoat to protect your colour, and take it just underneath the nail edge to seal the end of the nail.
