With brows at the forefront of beauty trends this year, it was only a matter of time before makeup artists and bloggers took the look to the next level. And once they started, these creative peeps have taken the baton and run with it. From strong #Instabrows, to double brows, to no brows at all, these are our favourite takes on the current craze…
The strong #instabrow

This is a trend which isn’t going away and no wonder – it does miracles for your face and makes you perfectly polished with little effort.
All you need is the Brow This Way Eyebrow Sculpting Kit, £3.99, for strong, beautiful brows. First, apply the wax to fix your brows in shape, then brush over the powder to add colour, using short strokes to mimic the hairs. Layer on as much powder as needed to make them as dark and bold as you want. Now step back and admire.
This look is great for when you really want people to notice just how perfect your arches are. Arm yourself with theBrow This Way Bow Highlighter, £4.99, and line the underside of your brow with the pigment, mimicking the shape of your eyebrow.
The highlighter works as a frame for your brows, drawing the eye and defining those excellent arches you’ve been working on. If you want to be more daring, amp up the drama with a pale eyeshadow – we love the silver hue from the Glam’Eyes Quad Eyeshadow in State of Grace, £6.99.
The bleached brow

With bold brows being such big news for the past few seasons, this was bound to happen: strands being bleached for an other-worldly effect that’s kind of blowing our minds. The anti-brow has been everywhereon the catwalks this season, although it could be said that some beauty bloggers got there first.
Want your own not-there brows without the permanence of bleach? It’s time to layer up with lots – and we mean lots – of concealer. Start by brushing your brows flat with a Brow This Way Eyebrow Gel in Clear, £3.99, then dust with Stay Matte Powder, £3.99, to set. Next, use a brush to coat the hairs with Hide the Blemish Concealer, £3.99, and brush over more powder.
Finally, use the same shade of Match Perfection Foundation, £7.99, that you’re wearing on the rest of your face, and dab it over your brows. You can choose whether to keep the rest of your face edgily bare, or play up your lips with a dark colour, like Moisture Renew Lipstick in Dark Night Waterl-oops, £6.49.
